My cat is happy when I speak to her with a British accent?

I say things like "Ello Mouse" and "Ow oar you Mouse?" and she starts purring and doing happy paws at me (Squeezing the blanket with her front paws) but she doesn't do it when I speak in my regular voice. Why is this?
