Would you let a 17 year old do your make-up for your wedding?

I don't see why I wouldn't. As long as you're good there shouldn't be a problem. You sound like you do a good job. Just as good as a professional. I don't see what's "tacky' about letting a 17 year old do your wedding makeup. Age doesn't always reflect ability. I say keep doing makeup and yes I would hire a 17 year with a good portfolio.
